This was actually taken on my phone... I'm rather impressed with it!

Last night I decided to set my alarm for 5:45 to catch the sunrise near where I was staying. The weather was supposed to be clear and it was too good an opportunity to miss even though I didn't get to bed until 2:00 that morning. After about 3 hours sleep I woke up, chucked on my coat and boots then slung my camera bag and tripod over my shoulders to head down to the shore. It was a freezing morning with everywhere covered in a frost, yet I knew the sky was clear as the moon shone brightly. I was hopeful. Yet as I reached the shore I was greeted by this. A nice barrier of cloud covering the horizon. I was now cold, tired and disappointed. Lets hope I can make something of the few images I got !
This cloud just over the horizon is becoming a very regular issue for me... anyone else have the same problem?

It worries me how many pictures I must miss after taking and never make use of. This one was taken nearing a year ago and yet I'm still glad I have just found it and done something with it!
