The Canon BG-E2N Battery Grip is designed with the EOS 40D in mind. The two BP-511A batteries permit high volume shooting by extending battery life to 2200 shots. Its new battery compartment design also makes it more resistant to dust and water. Although dedicated to the EOS 40D, the BG-E2N is also compatible with EOS 30D. EOS20D and EOD 20Da.
