This is a really good lens no matter what people say. For the price and what it can do for a photographer its just simply a must have in anyone's kit. I particularly like the background blur it is capable of as it gives photos that interesting touch. Yes its fairly cheap and abit noisy but its still going to give you great photos. Also if you were to accidently break it or lose it you wouldn't be devestated because its really affordable and you can just buy a new one. Can't say that for many other Canon lenses. It's seriously a nice little lens to own and you would be crazy not to have one. Happy shooting and with this lens you are certain of that.

Pros: An excellent budget lens. Super sharp focus.
Cons: AF slow, noisy and sometimes misses the mark in low light conditions
