A 9-point auto focus system is supported by 6 additional invisible Assist AF points, located inside the spot-metering circle to optimise subject tracking performance in AI SERVO AF Mode. For accurate exposure readings in tricky lighting conditions, the spot metering circle covers just 3.5% of the frame.

The Canon EOS 5D Mark II adds a new dimension into the DSLR world of photography by incorporating a full HD 1920x1080 video capture with up to 4GB per clip. Once filming is started from Live View mode, photographers can fire off either single or continuous stills, with video capture continuing after the final frame is captured. The 3.0-inch VGA resolution LCD brings a wide 170 degree angle of view to your eyes with a high 920k pixels resolution for accurate viewing of images. The addition of Canon’s EOS Integrated Cleaning System with a new Fluorine coating on the low-pass filter provides strengthened dust protection and prevention measures for the sensor.

I have had a 5D for 2.5 years now, and a month ago purchased the 5d mk11, both cameras are fantastic but the improvements or should I say evolment of the mk11 is unbelievable.
I have used Nikon and also 1DS but this for the price it is on another plain, wonderful camera, with so much to offer the amature and pro alike, Totally sold on this new 5D mk11. While I am here who in their right mind would want a 2/3 frame 7D when for a couple of pounds more you can get a 5D full frame, cant understand the logic of Canon their.
