The Canon PowerShot G10 takes an already brilliant camera, the G9, to new heights. From an improved 14.7 megapixels CCD sensor to the new DIGIC 4 processor, you can be sure of getting excellent image quality which you can view on the dazzling 461k dots LCD.
When you use the viewfinder to save battery power the top of the lens protrudes up into the bottom of the viewfinder which can be a bit of an annoyance and something that the engineers should have been able to avoid. Other features are great but it would be good if you could get a much more powerful zoom lens attached instead of just 1.4 more zoom.
Great macro. Great to have the 14.7 Megapixels as I can blow them up for screen backgrounds and create framed hi-res colour pics for around the house.
