The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 is the world’s first full-time live view digital interchangeable lens camera. With the lens changing versatility of a DSLR, it delivers exceptional image quality and expandable creative possibilities by allowing the adoption of lenses from both the Micro Four Thirds and Four Thirds System (requires mount adapter). Next year Panasonic is reportedly introduce a companion camera in the G series which will record video. I don't think Panasonic has a dealer price listed anywhere yet for this camera, and, being a dealer, I'm hoping $900+ is speculation as it puts the camera well out of range for the immediate competion (D60, K200, E-520, even the XSi)
