go. Resisting damage even from falls up to 1.2 meters, the shockproof design of
the Panasonic SDR-S9 is made possible by its improved rigidity and strength in
construction. Its interior is also well protected with an intermediate resin
chassis to cushion and protect the main circuit board and lens. The
water-resistance design allows performance even during rain or snow, or
alongside a pool or outside a ski lodge. The camcorder is constructed in a way
that you can hold and operate even when your hand is wet.
Boasting high precision and image quality, the wide range and high resolution
MPEG2 engine produces smooth and beautiful motion pictures in MPEG2 format.
Framing is made easy thanks to its spacious 2.7-inch wide free angle LCD and by
pressing the Power LCD button, the LCD becomes brighter which allows for easy
viewing in outdoor locations. Equipped with a 10x optical zoom, it gives great
flexibility to both motion and still image capture by pulling subjects closer
without loss of quality. Panasonic’s Electronic Image Stabilisation does the
duty of suppressing blur. Enabling a quick start-up of just 1.7 seconds in the
Quick Start Mode, not a precious moment is missed. Recordings are saved to SD
and SDHC memory cards.
