As far as the Xacty is concerned it is a very nice piece of kit. It is just what I needed. I never thought I will ever buy anything from Sanyo. I did not think that they will ever be able to have a product that will win my trust. Well... here they go. First of all the body is made of quality materials... ok not magnesium or anything fancy but strong durable plastic. The picture quality is very good especially if you shoot video outside. I think that the AF struggles a bit in low light conditions. The zoom is sufficient and I love the fact that you can apply filters and various lenses on this little camcorder. However this is a 2009 model, I still strongly believe that the overall rating of this camcorder is still much higher than any other competitors in this price range. It also gives you a lot of set up options e.g. manual focus etc. If you are on the market for a fun small camcorder that can record in full HD, I think this is the ultimate winner.
