This telephoto zoom lens provides a large and constant f/2.8 maximum aperture at all focal lengths. The use of Apo-chromatic design and 4 SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements give full correction of chromatic aberration and provide a high level of optical performance. The AF drive for the Canon EOS, Nikon and Sigma mounts are equipped with the silent, responsive and high-speed Hyper Sonic Motor and provide fulltime manual focus override.

A removable tripod mount is provided with the lens. Using the Nikon D200 camera in combination with this lens can result in improper exposure. Please contact Sigma local shops for a free upgrade if the lens you bought was for a Nikon D200 Camera. However, the Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 EX APO DG HSM lens functions effectively with any other D-SLR camera.
