Product Details

The Sigma 70-300mm DG f/4-5.6 APO Macro is a large-aperture lens with wide angles and short minimum focusing distances. This lens is capable of macro photography with a 1:2 maximum close-up magnification at the 300mm focal length. It also has a switch for changeover to macro photography at focal lengths between 200mm and 300mm.

This is the perfect high performance lens for portraits, sports photography, nature photography, and other types of photography that frequently use the telephoto range. With an abundance of peripheral illumination, they are ideal lenses for Digital SLR cameras, but they still retain suitability for traditional 35mm SLRs.

Please contact us so that we can confirm if your mount is available before bidding to avoid shipping delay or order cancellations.

Do any of you understand what a "review" is?
Having never used this lens, I'm sad to say I can't write a review for it. I can say that whoever wrote the second paragraph - "This is the perfect high performance lens for portraits, sports photography, nature photography, and other types of photography that frequently use the telephoto range..." - (likely Sigma) is blowing smoke. You're not going to find a perfect lens at this price, and you're sure as hell not going to get a "high performance" one.
The range is outstanding, the macro capability will be useful, and the 9 blade design will provide a pleasant background effect. For a starter lens, the specs on this are better than comparable Nikon or Canon lenses.

Is this compatible with Nikon D90?
I live in Norwich (UK) and if I am to buy this product will I be charged more than what is displayed (164.38) here?
Cheers!
