The Sony range is full of innovation, but it is a pity that they don't put it all in one design. The massive innovation of the 350 plus the full frame of the 900 would have been a real winner. Perhaps next year....? The idea that the magnesium body is what professionals want is tosh. Nether ABS nor all metal cameras bounce very well, I've tried both. Like Nick from Australia us Minolta fans are excited about the continuity of the mount and the electronic fit, but unlike him I have had a 100 from the early days, using my flash gun and my great Minolta lenses. It has not disappointed. Give us full frame, live view and the excellent pull out viewers, for us with creaky knees! That's my next Sony body.

I'd have to say that even though I prefer Nikon's there really is no difference between this sony and the D700 they both have the same CCD plus this camera body has a built in Vibration reduction. So all in all its a good buy.

At last - a full frame DSLR from Sony.
Have been with the now defunct Konica-Minolta for yonks,
resisting the temptation to up-grade to the earlier Sonys.
Looks like now's the time (and I'll need more than a few $$) to utilise all of my compatable equipment.
I'm starting to save now!
