We purchased one in Dec 09 to use for our road trip across the Nullarbor. The still photos are crap once uploaded to the computer, very small and none in focus even though the view screen has them looking great.
The video films in clips, so if you are filming a trip every time you turn turn the vid off, between filming, it saves it as a new file. So we have 100's of little clips as opposed to a whole film of our trip. Going to use movie studio and see if that helps.
We are in the process of having it repaired already as EVERY single video clip has pausing right the way through them. Our whole trip, cousins wedding, Christmas etc. It is like someone has continually pressed the pause button on and off for all 454 video clips :( Very disappointed. Hoping Sony can fix the problem otherwise its a money back and start looking for another one.

Is there any option to attach a flashlight (for using at low light) with this camcorder???

it s ok for nightshot espclly in the jungle?
