The Sony HDR-SR10E 40GB High Definition Handycam® Camcorder is an outstanding hard disk based camcorder with impressive image quality for both movies and still photos. Recording in the Full HD 1920x1080 video at 16Mbps using the AVCHD format, the SR10E can store up to 15 hours of HD recording on to its 40GB hard drive. Extra storage is capable on optional Memory Stick for easy sharing. Adopting a ClearVid CMOS sensor with Exmor derived technology, the Sony Handycam SR10E / SR10 Camcorder produces superb picture quality with high sensitivity and low noise. A still photo quality of 4 megapixels can be recorded on to its internal hard disk or removable Sony Memory Stick. The Advanced Dual Rec mode gives a simultaneous 3 megapixels still photo recording during video recording.
