The HVR-Z1 1080i HDV camcorder can capture HDV,DV CAM and DV images at 60i, 50i, 30, 25 or 24 frames per second, in either SD or HD. This switchable 60/50 capability allows videographers to use just one camcorder to meet an array of client needs for both local and overseas markets. With native high resolution 16:9 widescreen CCDs and the ability to record and playback DVCAM and DV as well as HDV, the Sony HVR-Z1 allows you to continue shooting in Standard Definition today with the view of migrating to High Definition tomorrow. The brilliant results have to be seen to be believed. The HVR-Z1 features three newly developed super HAD 1/3" CCDs.
