Live View/Preview Mode
Traditionally, framing shots on a DSLR meant eyeing through the optical viewfinder, but in recent years, we have seen the advent of Live View making its presence on recent DSLRs and enabling framing direct from the LCD. Having Live View does come with its benefits but with or without it, it's purely out of one's personal preference and shooting style.
