The Alpha NEX-5 is an innovation of the mirrorless interchangeable lens camera that features with the new Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and an incredible 14.2 effective megapixels. A point-and-shoot compact sized body with the stylish design, the NEX-5 is just 24.2mm in thickness. This camera comes with the DSLR image quality in shooting still and video featuring the BIONZ processor to allow fastest shooting reflexes, precise autofocus and less shutter lag. Same as the NEX-3, NEX-5 is also the first alpha camera that comes with Sweep Panorama. This compact sized is most suitable for shooting videos on the go with Full HD 1920 video mode and stereo sound in either high-quality AVCHD file or MPEG4 file format for easy web sharing.
